Tī tsok kú tsok kú tsìn-tsîng, ū tsi̍t-uī kong-tsú.
Her name was Snow White.
伊的名叫做「白雪」。
I ê miâ kiò-tsò Pe̍h-suat.
Her skin was as white and soft as snow.
伊的皮膚就親像冬天落的雪，白泡泡幼綿綿。
I ê phê-hu tiō tshin-tshiūnn tang-thinn lo̍h-ê seh, pe̍h-phau-phau iù-mī-mī.
That was why she was named Snow White.
就是因為按呢，伊的名才會號做白雪。
Tiō-sī in-uī án-ne, i ê miâ tsiah-ē hō-tsò Pe̍h-suat.
Snow White lived in a castle.
白雪公主蹛佇城堡內底。
Pe̍h-suat-kong-tsú tuà-tī siânn-pó lāi-té.
Her father was the King.
伊的爸爸就是國王。
I ê pa-pa tiō-sī kok-ông.
The King also lived in the castle.
國王嘛蹛佇城堡內底。
Kok-ông mā tuà-tī siânn-pó lāi-té.
He was a kind man.
國王的心肝誠好。
Kok-ông ê sim-kuann tsiânn hó.
He always said to Snow White,
伊定定對白雪公主講：
I tiānn-tiānn tuì Pe̍h-suat-kong-tsú kóng:
"You must be kind to everyone."
「你一定愛好好對待每一个人。」
lí it-tīng ài hó-hó tuì-thāi muí-tsi̍t-ê-lâng.
Snow White had a stepmother.
白雪公主有一个後母。後母就是爸爸後壁才閣娶的某。
Pe̍h-suat-kong-tsú ū tsit-ê āu-bú. Āu-bú tiō-sī pa-pa āu-piah tsia-koh tshuā ê thài-thài.
Her stepmother was the Queen.
白雪公主的後母，國王的太太，就是王后。
Pe̍h-suat-kong-tsú ê āu-bú, kok-ông ê thài-thài, tiō-sī ông-hiō.
The Queen lived in the castle, too.
這个王后嘛蹛佇城堡內底。
Tsit-ê ông-hiō mā tuà-tī siânn-pó lāi-té.
She had a Magic Mirror.
王后有一面魔鏡，有魔法的鏡。
Ông-hiō ū tsi̍t-bīn môo-kiânn, ū môo-huat ê kiànn.
The Magic Mirror knew everything.
這面魔鏡啥物攏知影。
Tsi̍t-bīn môo-kiânn siánn-mih lóng tsai-iánn.
One day the Queen asked the Magic Mirror,
有一工，王后就問魔鏡：
Ū tsi̍t-kang, ông-hiō tiō mn̄g môo-kiânn:
"Mirror, mirror, on the wall,
「魔鏡啊魔鏡，壁上的魔鏡，
Môo-kiânn a môo-kiânn, piah-siōng ê môo-kiânn,
who is the fairest of them all?"
誰是世間上上媠的人？」
siâng sī sè-kan-siōng siōng suí ê lâng?
The Magic Mirror answered,
魔鏡按呢甲伊回答：
Môo-kiânn án-ne kah i huê-tap:
“Snow White is the fairest of them all!”
「白雪公主是世間上上媠的人！」
Pe̍h-suat-kong-tsú sī sè-kan-siōng siōng suí ê lâng!
