新曆的二九暝，去牽手in爸母兜過年。in姊姊規家伙仔嘛有來，我佮in姊夫開講，佮囡仔𨑨迌。

2021年拄著誠濟難關，度咧度咧，一冬閣過。

2022年不求萬事如意，向望厝內逐家平安、健康，毋管拄著啥物困難，總是會過。

I spent the New Year’s Eve at my partner’s parents’ house. His sister also brought her family there. I talked with his brother-in-law and played with his nephews.

The year of 2021 was full of challenges, and I barely hung in there--until I realized the year had ended.

I do not expect to have everything I wish for in 2022, but I pray for a good year to come in which everyone in my family stay safe and sound--and overcome whatever challenges life will give them.

雞卵糕臭火焦（Ke-nn̄g-ko Tshàu-hué-ta）

拜六用這个做雞卵糕，誠方便。除了卵、牛奶、bá-tah，其他攏幫你攢(tshuân)好啊，攪攪咧就會當提去烘。但是我烘的時陣囥佇烘櫥（hang-tû）頂懸彼層，雞卵糕發起來，頂懸就臭火焦啊！

I made a cake with this on Saturday. I just added an egg, milk, butter to it. The rest was already in the kit. All I had to do was to mix the ingredients and bake it. What a shame that I put it on the upper rack of the oven and as the cake rose in the middle, the top got burned!

土曜日、このキットでケーキを作ってみました。たまこ、牛乳、バターの他に必要な材料は全部キットに入っていましたので、ちゃんと混ぜてから焼いたら完成しました！ただ、オーブンの上段で焼いていて、ケーキの真ん中が膨らんで表面が焦げました！
