「啥物？這是無可能的代誌！」
Siánn-mih? Tse sī bô-khó-lîng ê tāi-tsì.
I, I am the fairest, " roared the Queen.
王后足受氣的，伊講：「我才是世間上上媠的！」
Ông-hiō tsok siūnn-khí ê. "Guá, guá tsiah-sī sè-kan-siōng siōng suí ê!"
"Snow White is the fairest, " said the Mirror.
魔鏡就甲伊講：「白雪公主是上媠的。」
"Pe̍h-suat-kong-tsú sī siōng suí ê." Môo-kiânn kóng.
"What do you know? " she said.
王后就講：「你是捌啥物？」
Ông-hiō tiō kóng, "Lí sī bat siánn-mih?"
The Queen was very angry.
王后誠受氣。
Ông-hiō tsiânn siǔnn-khì.
The next day, the Queen was still bothered.
隔轉工，王后嘛是一直咧想這件代誌。
Keh-tńg-kang, ông-hiō mā sī it-ti̍t leh siūnn tsit-kiānn tāi-tsì.
She came up with an evil plan.
王后就想著一个足歹心的辦法。
Ông-hiō tiō siūnn-tio̍h tsit-ê tsok phái-sim ê pān-huat.
She called for a hunter and told him,
王后就叫來一个獵人。獵人就是會曉使用武器掠動物、刣動物的人。王后甲這个獵人講：
I kiò-lâi tsi̍t-ē la̍h-lîn. La̍h-lîn tiō-sī ē-hiáu sú-iōng bú-khì lia̍h tōng-bu̍t, thâi tōng-bu̍t ê lâng. Ông-hiō kah tsi̍t-ē la̍h-lîn kóng,
"Take Snow White deep into the woods.
「你去甲白雪公主𤆬去樹林內底。
"Lí khì kah Pe̍h-suat-kong-tsú tshuā-khì tshiū-nâ lāi-té.
Then kill her!"
甲伊刣死！」
Kah i thâi-sí!"
The hunter was shocked!
這个獵人驚著！
Tsi̍t-ē la̍h-lîn kiann-tio̍h!
He killed animals for a living.
為著生活，伊的工課是刣動物。
Uī-tio̍h sinn-ua̍h, i ê khang-khuè sī thâi tōng-bu̍t.
But he had never harmed any human being.
但是，伊從來就毋捌傷害過任何一个人。
"I cannot kill her!" the hunter said.
獵人就講：「我無法度刣伊！」
"This is an order!" demanded the Queen.
王后就講：「這是命令！」
Ông-hiō tiō kóng, "Tse-sī bīng-līng!"
The next day he took her into the woods.
隔轉工，獵人將白雪公主𤆬去樹林內底。
Keh-tńg-kang, la̍h-lîn tsiong Pe̍h-suat-kong-tsú tshuā-khì tshiū-nâ lāi-té.
The hunter was anxious.
獵人足緊張的。
La̍h-lîn tsok kín-tiunn ê.
He knew it was wrong to harm a human being.
伊知影講，傷害別人是毋對的代誌。
I tsai-iánn kóng, siong-hāi pa̍t-lâng sī m̄-tuì ê tāi-tsì.
"Are you all right?" asked Snow White.
白雪公主問伊：「你是按怎啊？」
Pe̍h-suat-kong-tsú mn̄g i, "Lí sī án-tsuánn a?"
The hunter drew his knife and was ready.
這个獵人攑出伊的刀仔，伊已經準備好啊。
Tsit-ê la̍h-lîn gia̍h-tshut i ê to-á, i í-king tsún-pī hó a.
